It’s been a while.

I can’t believe that is easily 6 weeks since I wrote my blog. It was such a highlight of my week while I was in Asia for 2 years now I am neglecting it. I haven’t got good WiFi where I am so have to go to the library a short tram ride away.

By novel is on the edge of submitting it to agents.

I have visited my sister in New South Wales, getting amongst the kangaroos, cockatoos & galahs.

I have bought myself some very nice winter boots.

I have done a 5 day hard lockdown.

I have booked a ticket to Newcastle next week where I will be meeting up with Julien from Kampot who is directing a rock musical that will be performed over 4 nights. Lisa my music friend is performing in it so we will be travelling up together, I will be helping out back stage.

I am still managing to budget OK, going for lots of walks along the beach to the supermarket.

The summer that never was has gone bringing autumn cold cloudy days so far, although Melbourne autumn’s are always sunny and warm so let’s hope this year is no different. But I’m prepared now with my boots, a warm coat is my next purchase.

Sadly because if Covid our crops are not being picked as no backpackers are here to do it so even though there is an abundance of crops things are a little bit expensive. I’ll do a run down next time of prices. I won’t leave it as long between blogs.

Until next time

Take care

    1. A Galah is a bird, pink and grey very pretty, they fly in huge flocks along with cockatoos up where my sister lives as they grow a lot of wheat and rice in the area. Hope all is well with you Tiffany 🙏
